International Women’s Day is an important celebration because it appreciates and spotlights the amazing works of women worldwide and by doing so enlightens the society on the impact of women in all fields as well as encourages young girls to see that they can be anything they want to be and should not be restricted/limited by gender.
This year’s theme is awesome because it opens the society to the need for an equal and balanced world. A balanced world is a better world and it is important that the scale is not tilted to the advantage or disadvantage of a gender.
